Description
Ocean View Hotel, Harbor Road, on Swan’s Island, was owned by Charles Herrick. Lilla Moulden ran a hotel and dance hall there in the early 1940s. She baked pies daily and washed laundry daily. When the steamboat was running folks would come up Steamboat Hill and attend the functions or just sit on the porch and enjoy the view.
