Description
These six women comprised the Class of 1915 women’s basketball A team at Farmington State Normal School. Carolyn Stone (at the back) coached them, and the team was one of several class teams who played intramural games against each other.
This team included Agnes Mantor, standing to the left of Miss Stone. Agnes graduated from the school in 1915 and taught at the college. She was also the driving force behind establishing the college’s first library.
Standing across from Agnes was Mary Day and seated to the left of the basketball was Fannie Niles.
