Description

D.S. Osborn and E.M. Woodford produced this wall map of Gardiner showing names of property owners, buildings, streets, etc.

Included on the map are Insets of prominent businesses and residences: residence of John Stone; residence of Dr. C.S. Whitman; D.S. Johnson & J. Lawrence's Block; Gardiner Hotel, Isaac J. Carr, proprietor; Cobbossee House, E.F. Webber, proprietor; residence of John Dennis; Holmes & Robbins, machine shop & iron foundry; Universalist church; Oaklands, residence of R.H. Gardiner; residence of John Berry, Jr.; residence of N.O. Mitchell; residence of R.K. Littlefield; and residence of Henry Washburn.
