Description
Horace W. Shaylor Jr. of Portland compiled an album that contains photographic reproductions of his father's pencil sketches of various New England landscapes.
His father, H.W. Shaylor Sr., was an artist as well as a businessman who started a system of handwriting and teaching handwriting.
Shaylor Jr. made the album as a Christmas gift for his daughter, Georgina.
