Description
This view is looking northeast from the roof of the Custom House and shows the rear of the Berry Block on Main Street. In the foreground can be seen the storehouse of the Simonton Brothers Dry Goods & Carpet Store which has its salesroom in the Berry Block at 245 Main Street. Beyond the long roof across Main Street from the Berry Block, one sees many small houses on Crockett's Point projecting into Rockland Harbor, and in the distance on the left one sees Jameson Point.
