Description
Olaf and Hilda Bangs are shown on the porch of the Carleton Fickett home on North Lubec Road, overlooking the bay and Campobello Island.
The Bangs also lived on North Lubec Road. After her husband died in 1987, Hilda Bangs moved to Winslow. She bequeathed $200,000 for construction of a new library building in Lubec after her death in 1997.
The Bangs house with a raised roof and many additions remained as of 2012.
