Description

A Tichnor Brothers postcard of Hotel Bar Harbor. The hotel opened in 1950 following the 1947 fire. This postcard shows the entrance to the building in the lower left. The hotel promoted its modern style, embracing the new 1950s culture with a cocktail lounge and grill room.

The caption reads, "Entrance to Hotel Bar Harbor, Bar Harbor, Me."
