Description

The caption reads, "Bangor House, Bangor, Maine." This building is located on the corners of Main and Union streets. It opened in 1834 it is modeled after another hotel, the Tremont House in Boston, and designed by architect Charles Bryant.

The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
