Description
The caption reads, "Greetings from Bangor, Maine." This postcard was produced to serve as a souvenir and to promote tourism to Maine, ca. 1935. Among the many sites depicted on this postcard are the Peirce Memorial, post office, city hall, Eastern Trust building, public library, electric fountain, Penobscot River, and various views of Main Street.
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard from about 1930-1945. This postcard is part of the company's Maine vacation series.
