Dr. Eben Thorpe Bennet (Feb. 26, 1921 - May 25, 1991) and his grandfather Dr. Eben Homer Bennet (June 20, 1848 - Aug. 31, 1944), inscribed to Mame Bennet, sister of Dr. DaCosta Bennet (1885-Apr. 1975). Eben Thorpe’s grandfather Eben and father DaCosta practiced lifelong in Lubec, Eben Thorpe practicing Obstetrics-Gynecology in Portland, Maine.
