Description
During the mid 20th century this building at 24 Water Street housed the Trecartin Tin Shop. The Trecartin Hardware Store was in the adjacent building to the right, a Western Auto dealer when this photo was taken. A restaurant, lawyer’s office, and Tours of Lubec and Comstock occupied the building in the late 20th century and early 21st Century. As of 2011 the Northern Tides Gift Shop was here. Lubec Channel, “The Narrows,” is visible in the background, Campobello Island in the distance.
