Description

Palace Playland ruins taken on October 4, 1948 assessing the damage from the fire the day before. The fire started on Old Orchard Street in a ride called the Old Mill. The fire continued to burn the entire block of the amusement area, surrounded by Old Orchard Street, West Grand Avenue, Staples Street and the oceanfront.
