Cattle Pound, Turner, 2009

The Turner cattle pound was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in April 2009.

The pound was a fenced enclosure to hold stray cattle until their ownership could be established and the animals returned. It is located at the intersection of General Turner Hill and Kennebec Trail.
