Description
An 1855 map of the Thomaston waterfront on the Georges River indicates the shipyards in business at that time. Over the years, the area outlined in red has been the shipyard of William Metcalf, William Singer, Charles Morse and Son, Morse Boatbuilding Co. and Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding Co.
