Description
The postcard version of an image taken by Eastern Illustrating Co. of Belfast to show Main Street in Wiscasset. The Eastern Illustrating photographer traveled from community to community, capturing memorable scenes that were then printed onto postcards and marketed in the communities' pictured.
At the left of the photo is a wagon loaded with barrels made to transport lime from the area's booming lime business.
