Maine Street, Swift Block, Brunswick, ca. 1880

Description

Historic 1846 Swift Block on Maine Street containing the Universalist Church before it burned in 1884. The structure was originally designed to have stores on the first floor and church above. The brick first floor level from the original construction survived the fire and the church was remodeled without the steeple and clock.
