Description

A 3 ton REO truck with a snow plow on Market Square in Houlton.

Ransom E. Olds founded the Olds Motor Vehicle Company in 1897 but the company had financial problems and he left the company which later became part of General Motors in 1908. In 1905 Olds formed the REO Motor Car Company. REO discontinued manufacturing cars in 1936 to concentrate on making trucks.
