Description
Elijah Kellogg (1813-, a clergyman, a native of Portland, graduated from Bowdoin College in 1840 and from Andover Theological Seminary in 1843.
In 1844, he was ordained as pastor of the Congregational Church in Harpswell and later became chaplain of the Boston Seaman's Friend Society.
He was a noted lecturer and author of a number of juvenile books.
