Description
Part of the hospital complex, the dispensary at the Presque Isle Army Air Base was located directly across Skyway Street from where Presque Isle Middle School was later located.
The base began operating in 1941 on the site of the Presque Isle airfield to ferry planes, equipment, and personnel overseas during World War II.
