Description

Samuel Gray owned the Gray block in Houlton, constructed of wood, which burned in a fire on April 1, 1880.

Gray rebuilt in the same location using brick, finished in 1894. The M.A. Ryan Company, the S. A. Gray Company, and John Boyel where all housed within the building.
