Description
In 1910, Eliot celebrated the one hundredth anniversary of its incorporation as a town. As part of the weeklong-event taking place from August 6 to 13, 1990, the town invited all residents and former residents to return for the festivities. A welcome home route, which also served as a parade route, extended throughout the town. This house on Pleasant Street was one of many along the route to be decorated with patriotic bunting to mark the celebration.
