Description
The Poland Spring House at the Poland Spring resort attracted visitors from much of the East coast and elsewhere at its heyday in the late 19th century.
Visitors came to escape the pressures of city life and to enjoy the waters at Poland Spring.
Portland architect John Calvin Stevens renovated the building in the early 20th century. It was built in 1876, at which time it did not have the distinctive towers.
