Description
Portrait of Anne Longfellow Pierce, (1810-1901) benefactress of the Maine Historical Society. She bequeathed the Wadsworth-Longfellow House and the property for the Research Library to the Maine Historical Society in her will. She was sister to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the famous poet.
