Description
Manuscript map number 55, showing Foster's Neck in Georgetown, Maine, Nov. 1, 1746. The plot of land depicted in the map is presently located on Fosters Point in the town of West Bath, Maine. This map was created by the Proprietors of the Township of Brunswick, also known as the Pejepscot Proprietors, which was a large land company formed in Massachusetts to colonize present-day Maine.
