Westbrook parade, ca. 1940

The annual Memorial Day Parade in Westbrook began at the "lower " end of Main Street around Vallee Square (corner of Bridge Street and Main Street) and headed north to the city park and bandshell.

Following the parade were speeches, band concerts and picnics at the park.
