Description

Gritty's Brew Pub in Portland created this t-shirt in 1994, offering their mascot, Gritty McDuff, as Maine's next governor. Their slogans were, "Good old fashioned party politics" and, "Ale to the Chief."

Gritty's opened in 1988, one of Maine's first craft brew pubs.
