Description

This wall map of Saco and Biddeford published in 1851 depicts the boarding houses and mills of the Pepperell Company, Laconia Company, and York Company along the Saco River. It also contains images of buildings of interest: York-Hotel in Saco by J. Gordon; Thornton House in Saco, proprietor J.P. Philbrook; Central Block in Biddeford; Residence of D.E. Somes in Biddeford.
