Description

Fourth of July, 1907, Springvale Square.

Fred Philpot took this photograph from an elevated position, perhaps a telephone pole (note the boys on the neighboring poles), looking north along Main Street. Several horse drawn buggies and early automobiles are visible. At the upper left, near the Springvale House, is a large wagon decorated with flags.
