The John Wheeler and Son, Coal and Lumber mill with windmill, was located on the corner of Haskell and Main Streets in Westbrook. The mill and windmill are listed in the tax books for Westbrook under John Wheeler for the first time in 1884.
Wheeler sold both rough lumber and finished moldings, doors, windows, stairs, some home furnishings, and coal. In 1894, Frank Webb became partners with E. H. Phillips and purchased the mill from the Wheelers.
