The caption reads, "Vacation spot along the Shore of East Pond, Oakland, Me." East Pond is near the northernmost area the Belgrade lakes of Maine where there are many camping opportunities for vacationers. Shown here is a dock, canoe and cabins. East Pond is midway between Oakland and Smithfield.
