Bethel Fair doll, ca. 1848

This is a tiny nut-headed doll with a brown silk dress, blue plaid shawl, and white bonnet. The arms are of cloth and the body of paper. The lower body is a cardboard cylinder covered with tissue. The face is drawn in ink.
