Description

Adoniram J. Pickard was a first lieutenant and adjutant for the 2nd Maine Volunteers.

A native of Hamden, he enlisted while living in Rockland on Oct. 12, 1863. He was promoted to full adjutant on July 6, 1864, and mustered out on Dec. 6, 1965 in Barrancas, Florida.
