View of the length of Wood Island, including the lighthouse, from the shores of Biddeford Pool, around 1915. Low craggy rocks blend with the short grasses for sweeping visibility of the islands of Saco Bay. Robert H. Gay was a prolific photographer in and around Biddeford and Biddeford Pool. He had his images produced as postcards which he sold in the area.
