Tenterden Tablets, Good Will Homes, Fairfield

Children from the Good Will Home gather around the Tenterden Tablets, a monument on the walking trails in SunSet Park on the Goood Will campus.

The monument was built in 1916 and has plaques with information about the genealogy of George Walter Hinckley, founder of Good Will Homes. Tenterden, England, is Hinckley's ancestral home.

Charles D. Hubbard designed two slate plaques for the sides with images of the Good Will Roundel and a ship.

It was dedicated in 1916 by an address by John Francis Sprague of Dover-Foxcrot who edited Spragues Journal of Maine History. The monument is field stones with slate plaques.
