the Leavitt family of Eastport owned this knee-length winter cape. It may be of English origin.
The lime green silk cloak was lined with a pink glazed cotton, and was stuffed with cotton wadding for warmth. The high standing collar, lined with quilted pink silk, and the attached hood offered further protection from the elements.
