Description

Peter Sanborn, a tanner in East Readfield, wrote to his daughter, Sarah, who was away at school. He discusses family news and continues a previous discussion about the death of his son, her brother, George.

He also comments that all he wants for his children is for them to live, be wise, and especially, good.
