E.W. Moore made this drawing, one of five in a bound sketchbook, copying prehistoric rock art on the banks of the Kennebec River, near Embden.
The rock art is about 900-1200 years old. The inscription on this drawing notes: "Figure nearest the river, Indian Ledge, Height 13 in."
