Description

The First Congregational Church in Ellsworth was founded in 1812. This building was constructed in 1847 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The caption reads, "First Congregational Church, Ellsworth, Maine." The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
