Description

Architecture commission for an unknown client at an unknown address in Scarborough Beach, Scarborough, ME, circa 1905. The commission is associated with Frederick A. Tompson. This item is part of the Frederick A. Tompson architectural drawings collection.

The Kirkwood was established in the 1870s by James Gunnison. The hotel closed in 1905, and then reopened in 1920. It was torn down in 1931.
