Description

A social gathering held by members of the Tisbury Manor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). The photograph was taken at the island home of Genevieve Beckwith, located on Lake Hebron in Monson. Present were Stella Hughes, Beatrix Bray, Agrandece Pullen, Gwendlyn Allen, Ivy Leighton, Bernice Young, Genevieve Beckwith, Edith Jackson, Josephine Emanuelson, and Eloise Stevens.

The Tisbury Manor Chapter of the DAR was chartered in November of 1952 and has sponsored many town and school patriotic events and continues as an active chapter today.
