Description

Tied up to Stenger's wharf in the dead of winter, this schooner was designed by Charles Morse in Waldoboro. It was used as a freighter, with booms near the stern of the boat to hoist goods in and out of the schooner. Schooners hauled freight up and down the coast well into the twentieth century.
