Paul was from St. Etiene, France and he was attending Cony High School in Augusta. In 1968 at the Grenoble Olympics Isabelle won a Silver medal in the Downhill. At the Sugarloaf World Cup races, she scored 3rd in the Kandahar Downhill, 4th in the Tall Timber Downhill, and 12th in the Giant Slalom. Gov. Curtis was Maine Secretary of State, then Governor and later became Ambassador to Canada.
