Gilman Place Open House apartment viewing, Waterville, 2011

Contributed by Kennebec Valley Community College Archive

Description

The original Gilman building was part of Kennebec Valley Technical Institute. A view of how traces of the old school were incorporated into the new apartments. Maintaining part of an old blackboard and supply closet helps give this living space a unique character. It provides an interesting contrast to the modernized kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
