Description
Many Lubec sardine canneries were represented by floats in the 4th of July parades. Workers decorated the floats and participated in the parades.
Pictured on the R.J. Peacock Co. float is Thelma (Winchester) Quirk (in the middle with her back to the camera). Across from her in the middle, facing the camera is her sister, Irma (Winchester) Guptill. Also on the float is Margaret McCaslin.
