Description

G.H. Curtis, proprietor of a clothing store in Springfield, Massachusetts, wrote to the Rickers at Poland Spring in 1881 about its curative qualities and the price he was charged.

The card reads, "Springfield, Mass. 2/8 1881 I have been using the Poland Water & it benefitted me curing intrely indigestion and kidney trouble. I wrote to Boston for more he charged $7. I had [?] paid $5 pr Bbl using [?] Bbl can I have some more at same price 5 Truly your G.H. Curtis."
