Henry W. Lyon Jr., ca. 1902
Henry (Harry) Ware Lyon Jr. (1885-1963) in what probably is a high school photo. He graduated from Nazareth Hall, a military school in Pennsylvania, and studied at Hebron Academy while waiting for an appointment to the Naval Academy.
Lyon, who lived in Paris Hill, was the navigator aboard the Southern Cross, which flew from Oakland, California, to Sydney, Australia, with stops in Hawaii and Fiji, in 1928.
