Description

Ex-presidents of the Canadian and American snowshoe clubs at a summer camp in Québec.

Snowshoe clubs had hundreds of members in French Canada and in Franco-American communities.

Lewiston-Auburn had some two dozen clubs that operated year-round and served as social clubs as well as promoting snowshoeing.
