Description
President William Howard Taft (with bow tie, in the center) played Kebo Valley during his visit in July 1910. He is shown on the sixteeth green with the Building of Arts in the background. President taft set a new "record" right after this photograph was taken, shooting a 27 on the par four seventeenth hole. (Information taken from "Bygone Bar Harbor".)
