Roger Bouffard of Lewiston, age 6, plays the young St. John the Baptist in the annual celebration of the saint's birth in 1958. The float is at l'Eglise Ste-Croix on Lisbon Street.
Young, curly-haired boys in sheepskin clothing posed as St. John the Baptist each year.
