The Surette family of Mexico posed for a portrait in 1919. Some of the family later moved to Bangor.

At rear, from left, are Theodore, parents Mary and George, both immigrants from Canada, and Louise. In the front are Rosie and Macelana (Macky).

Louise was born in 1918. The Surettes had six more children after this photo was taken.
